Road to Music Business
BACKGROUND
Connor Stewart is a young pop artist ready to mingle in the business. Connor Stewart is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a focus in Voice at Texas Christian University. Connor Stewart has recorded a wonderful collection of songs at Mansfield Mentors, with an EP (extended-playlist) scheduled to release by early 2021. These songs are a testament to the depth and diversity of their creativity and hard work produced by James Dumaine. James Dumaine brought Connor's musical vision to life with his tactful and creative nature. Mr. Dumaine has worked with many talented or polarizing artists/bands such as Kayne West and Kool & The Gang, the late Prince and many others. Connor credits his father for inspiring him to be a songwriter and pushing him in his music and has recorded background vocals for his father's upcoming Christian album, which led him to James Dumaine. Connor Stewart is a performer at heart, always has been, performing in musicals in high school, choir, and was on the school spirit squad as an official hype man. Connor's true passion is songwriting with constantly having melodies in his head. He looks forward to setting songs down in the studio, fascinated by the different influences and perspectives that make each song unique. Connor has been apart of various music ensembles on campus; TCU Concert Chorale, Vocal Jazz and Frog Corps, and TCU Opera Studio which inspires his creativity. He is a member of theend; an organization on campus that brings actors, comedians, musicians to campus. Connor has a passion for stage management and managed for TCU Opera company both "The Tragedy of Carmen" Spring 2019 and "Yeltsin in Texas" February 2020. He currently manages local shows in the DFW area.

BRAND
The Charming Rebel
Connor has a different persona on stage during live performance than his everyday life persona. He has the Boy Next Door look and is a charming, likable guy with a wacky sense of humor. However, the on-stage Connor is a heightened version of the previous guy with a fearless nature that embodies a True Rebel, who blazes his own trail. His general target market would be centered for middle school to millennial audiences but could garner the respect of older generations with an infusion of musical influences such as a tinge of grudge and jazz elements in certain songs of his EP. These influences would catch the attention of the subcultures that are avid fans of particular flavors of music. Connor takes a complete marketing orientation by fitting in the niche of what his audience wants to listen to as well as music that he enjoys writing. Connor writes to the people that have been counted out, the misfits or the misunderstood, individuals never having their hopes and dreams realized or taken seriously.
